New technology is changing at lightening speeds and especially when it comes to the cell phone. Many cell phone providers are offering many incentives to get new subscribers to the yearly phone contracts that can run high calls per minute charges. Even with the vast majority of people doing texting it still can get pretty expensive to talk on mobile phones. Smart phones make it easier for people to communicate in such ways as accessing the web, sharing photos and uploading music.

Research shows that most people use their phones to see what time of day it is, also the phone can be used as a calendar. It is not hard to believe that most people do not leave the house without their mobile cell phone due to having everyone they knows phone number saved inside. GPS has also made it easy on the Google Android phone to get directions and find a favorite restaurant or movie theatre.

What can a phone do? well most come with a texting keyboard as well as camera to take photos or download your favorite songs from iTunes. Can phones replace the need for human interaction? some say they already have since two people can be sitting directly across from each other at a table and they prefer to text or talk to each other by way of the cell phone instead of in person. So talking in syllables can get young people lost in vocabulary.

The advances in the mobile phone will continue to change and make it a vital part of people lives with touch screens and tracking to help find a lost phone or a missing person. Cell phones have been used in all types of public places from the grocery store, mall, bathroomn and work place, so its best to learn some cell phone etiquette when standing in a line or checking out at the bank or grocery counter.

Also many laws have been passed to help drivers to eliminate phone use while driving, the accidents that have caused death to pedestrians due to teens texting while driving has caused many officials to place fines and require drivers to use blue tooth or hand free cell phone headsets while talking and driving on the road.
