What I Like About My Work Career

It is important to enjoy your the work you do and the career that you choose. When you enjoy your work it is really not work. If you can not find anything that you like about it, then you will not experience the joy and contentment it can bring. Here are some things I like about my work career freelance writing.

First I can structure my day according to when I am the most productive. Now being tied down to a schedule that does not work for me. Because I am able to create my scheduleI can better manage my time. For example, I set up different time frames tor a certain task. Here is a glimpse of my day. I get up (between 6:00 am and 7 am) shower and get dressed. Then I eat breakfast. Read for about an hour then exercise or take a walk. Next I block off a couple of hours to return phone calls. Then it is snack time. I drink plenty of water throughout the day. Next block of time I listen to my motivation tapes while returning my emails. I take care of any miscellaneous task so that I am not distracted once I start my work day.

Now my work day starts, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Then it is lunch time. After lunch my work day continues until 4:30. During this time I work on one of my several projects, one at a time. This includes writing articles. When the workday is finished at 4:30 pm, I relax my mind. Later in the evening I review notes I have written from my readings and listening to tapes. Finally, I check my Daily "Do Do List", mark off the completed task, prioritize and write a new one. This schedule is flexible to allow for appointments, unexpected situations and emergencies. Another reason I Like my work careers being able to communicate via email and the internet to share ideas. Also, the opportunity to associate with like minded people. I could go on and on with a multitude of things I like about my work career. It is evident that I am content and enjoy what I do.
